The Unit has secured large, research-council grants for collaborative research projects and has supported innovative, creative practice-based research.

The selection of research projects below are exemplary of the Unit’s particular strengths in multidisciplinary, collaborative research with impact. We acknowledge funding by the AHRC, UKRI, ESRC, WEFO, Creative Wales, Leverhulme Trust, Heritage Lottery Fund, Society for Theatre Research, and the Wellcome Trust in the support of our research. We also acknowledge the Arts Council of Wales, the Arts Council of England, British Council India and British Council Wales, and Creative Scotland for their support of professional creative works that have been instrumental to Practice Research conducted by the Unit.
