Jude Akudinobi, Professor of Ethnic Studies at UC Santa Barbara, said: “Prof Ayisi’s unflagging enthusiasm for teaching, compelling originality and engaging incisiveness, weaving seemingly disparate elements into enthralling pedagogical wholesomeness, reverberate within our campus community.

“Notably, the students found her presentations, undergirded by remarkable knowledge of cinema, cultural production and contemporary critical methodologies, very resourceful, with quite a number now writing their term-paper research projects on Prof Ayisi’s body of work.”
